:: Our Mission Statement ::

The mandate of Windsor Homes Coalition Inc. (1994) is to provide decent, safe affordable and well managed housing to people from all walks of life.

Our primary objective is to offer this social housing to single parents, families, seniors, and the physically or mentally challenged individuals of our community. Our organization will improve the quality of life with dignity for this resident population through the provision of affordable, scattered social housing. This will include the implementation of tenant involvement and empowerment, utilizing our Tenant Advisory Council and Tenant Advocate.

The mandate will be accomplished by:

1. Developing and managing affordable scattered housing through sponsored non-profit housing programs.
   
   
2. Ensuring full resident participation and input into the management and operation of its home utilizing our Tenant Advisory Council and Board membership.
   
   
3. Identifying and developing social and educational programs geared towards the enhancement of quality of life of the tenants and fostering independence.
   
   
4. Acquiring and managing resources necessary to ensure the development and implementation of social programs.
   
   
5. Identifying and utilizing community resources, which will ensure and enhance quality of life for the tenants in order to combat poverty and to promote justice.
   
   
6. Developing volunteer organizational structures necessary to manage and develop initiatives for tenants.

The Windsor Homes Coalition Inc.(1994) would achieve it's mandate by continuing to work within the spirit of co-operation with community agencies, support groups and individuals in order to foster respect for the basic dignity of the human person and the crucial importance of family.
